Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to singing lessons provided by Singing Lessons with Wes.

By booking lessons, the student agrees to these terms.

2. Lessons

Lessons are provided either:

  • In person at an agreed location

  • Online via an agreed video platform

Lessons are tailored to each student's goals, ability level, and musical interests.

3. Booking and Payment

Lessons must be booked in advance.

Payment must be made before or at the agreed time of the lesson unless another arrangement has been agreed.

Lesson prices may be updated in the future. Existing bookings will not be affected by price changes already agreed.

Payments are non-refundable except where stated in these Terms & Conditions.

4. Lesson Blocks

Lesson blocks are available as 5 or 10 lesson packages.

Payment for lesson blocks must be made in full before the first lesson of the block begins, unless another arrangement has been agreed.

Lesson blocks are non-transferable and may only be used by the student who purchased them.

Refunds for unused lessons will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If the student needs to cancel or rearrange a lesson, they should provide as much notice as possible.

Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson fee.

Cancellation fees may be waived in exceptional circumstances, including genuine emergencies, at my sole discretion.

Where possible, I will try to offer an alternative lesson time.

6. Missed Lessons

If a student does not attend a booked lesson without prior notice, the lesson will be charged in full.

Where repeated missed lessons occur without notice, I may review whether continued lessons can be offered. Following three missed lessons without prior notice, future bookings may be withdrawn at my discretion.

7. Teacher Cancellation

If I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, at least 24 hours' notice will be provided where possible.

In exceptional circumstances, including illness or emergencies, shorter notice may be necessary.

Where a lesson is cancelled by me, an alternative lesson time will be offered where possible. If a replacement lesson cannot be arranged, any payment made will be credited towards a future lesson or refunded.

8. Student Progress

I will provide guidance, exercises, and feedback to support the student's development.

Progress depends on factors including practice, attendance, commitment, and individual ability.

I cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as achieving a particular vocal range, examination result, or performance ability.

9. Use of Lesson Materials

Any lesson materials provided are intended for personal use only and should not be distributed without permission.

10. Health and Vocal Safety

The student is encouraged to practise singing safely and follow any guidance provided during lessons.

I will provide instruction and advice intended to support healthy vocal technique. However, vocal development and practice outside of lessons are the responsibility of the student.

I cannot be held responsible for vocal strain, injury, or discomfort resulting from unsafe practice, activities undertaken outside of lessons, or failure to follow vocal health guidance.

The student should inform me of any existing vocal difficulties, injuries, or health conditions that may affect their ability to sing safely.

11. Ending Lessons

Either the student or I may end lessons at any time.

Outstanding payments must be settled before lessons end.
